Saturday, April 20 is the first of our Watch Live Movie events at JUC. We will start off at 3pm with an animated family film Migration, take a break at 4:30pm for pizza, then, at 6pm, we will watch 12 Monkeys. Graham & Aaron will lead a short discussion at 8:15pm. You are welcome to join us for one or both films!

Migration – A family of ducks decides to leave the safety of a New England pond for an adventurous trip to Jamaica. However, their well-laid plans quickly go awry when they get lost and wind up in New York City. The experience soon inspires them to expand their horizons, open themselves up to new friends, and accomplish more than they ever thought possible.

12 Monkeys – Traveling back in time isn’t simple, as James Cole learns the hard way. Imprisoned in the 2030s, James is recruited for a mission that will send him back to the 1990s. Once there, he’s supposed to gather information about a nascent plague that’s about to exterminate the vast majority of the world’s population. But, aside from the manic Jeffrey, he gets little in the way of cooperation, not least from medical gatekeepers like Dr. Kathryn Railly.
