This month’s movie was the Sci-Fi Drama “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” from 2011 starring Andy Serkis as “Caesar”.
How would one describe this movie? A cautionary tale of humanity’s hubris and desire to cure every disease known to man.
What exactly is the plot of the movie? A substance designed to help the brain repair itself gives advanced intelligence to a chimpanzee who leads an ape uprising.

Personal Feelings: This is an amazingly well done reboot that should be used as an example of how to do reboot of a classic franchise correctly without going overboard.
