This month our SPS Movie Group will watch together the 2022 Fantasy Adventure Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, starring Antonio Banderas as “Puss in Boots” and Salma Hayek as “Kitty Softpaws”.
How would one describe this movie? This movie is a Fantasy Adventure that touches upon fear and acceptance of family and death.
What exactly is the plot of the movie? Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll when he learns that he has burnt through eight of his nine lives. Puss sets out on an epic journey to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives.

Personal Rating: 9/10
Personal Feelings: I had watched this movie in theaters to end 2022, as is tradition for me since 2010, not knowing what to expect as I had hardly seen any trailers for it and I’m glad I did. I highly recommend going into this film knowing as little as possible and you won’t regret it. This film can easily be considered an animated timeless classic.
